  1. Where are you from? What do you do for work? Family?

I was born in San Francisco, but grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina- I am a proud Tarheel! I was a pharmaceutical hospital sales rep for years until I quit after my second child was born. I am married to Jason (fellow Tarheel) and have 2 busy kids- Chase- 11 ½ and Molly, 8 ½.

  1. When did you start CFP?

I purchased a groupon in the fall of 2012 for CF Silos with Kimberly! I have always been a runner, so I was looking for something to complement it. After a month of Travis’s classes, I couldn’t go back to just running! I have followed the box through all of their moves and continue to have fun!

  1. What’s your biggest fitness/health accomplishment since starting CFP?

Lifting weights and learning gymnastic skills- although I am still not proficient at either, I am so much better than when I started (although that is not saying much!)

  1. What are your future fitness goals?

I would love to become even more proficient at gymnastic skills- Toes to Bar, Pull-ups, HSPU, and I am sure Travis is expecting to see me do DU at some point! 😉

  1. What do you do for fun?

Well… Ha- I love to travel around the world- I am always on the lookout for my next adventure- either with Jason, my girlfriends, or the whole family – I love to go and see! Recently, I became a docent and give tours for Bulloch Hall, an antebellum home in Roswell. As a Tarheel alumnae, I enjoy watching college basketball and football! It’s also not unusual to see or hear about Kimberly and I out and about- always with a funny story associated with it! Being active and out is important to my mental health as well as my physical health!

  1. Favorite lift/workout?

CHIPPERS!!!

  1. Least favorite lift/workout?

I hate squats, thrusters, and that Air Assault bike… Gross!

  1. What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start at CrossFit Passion?

Walk in with a smile on your face and the rest will follow! Each one of us has strengths and weaknesses and CrossFit Passion brings out the best in all of us! The support, coaching, programming, and laughter ensure that each 3-2-1-GO will be the highlight of your day!
