  1. Where are you from? What do you do for work? Family?

Canton, GA. I am an accountant for HR Strategies in Suwanee, GA. My family all lives here with me! I’m lucky I know!

 

  1. When did you start CFP?

I came to CFP after Operation CrossFit merged with CFP in the beginning of 2015.

 

  1. What’s your biggest fitness/health accomplishment since starting CFP?

On top of making progress strength and endurance wise since I started, I have also learned so much about nutrition. It has helped me lose weight in a healthy way and has also aided in my ability to do the workouts better, faster, and stronger. While losing weight and gaining muscle is an accomplishment in itself, gaining the knowledge on how to do those things properly through nutrition will stay with me forever and I see that as a much bigger accomplishment.

 

  1. What are your future fitness goals?

I just really want to stay on track. Obviously I want to learn some more things along the way (like muscle ups), but as long as I keep putting in the work, I’ll be happy!

 

  1. What do you do for fun?

Squats? DUH! Really just like to do whatever the day brings. If I had a choice, I’d be wake boarding at Lake Hartwell!

 

  1. Favorite lift/workout?

I like power cleans/hang cleans/squat cleans. I feel confident doing those and tend to push my comfort zone a little more with them. My favorite workouts are usually those that have a good amount of gymnastic movements in them. I have become pretty efficient with toes to bar and double unders so when those show up in a workout, I get pretty pumped to push the efficiency even more.

 

  1. Least favorite lift/workout?

Anything overhead is a struggle. There is always a hesitation throwing weight up over your head which has hindered my growth in these movements! As far as workouts, if I see a workout with thrusters these are a big mind game for me, but I know if I skip these workouts, I’ll never get any better. So I go and I suffer but I get a little bit better every time I do!

 

  1. What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start at CrossFit Passion?

You will come for the workout but stay for the people. Get ready to feel like a badass everyday with your second family!
